The return of the Voiles de Saint-Tropez

Publish on Sunday, 15 September 2019

Celebrate with us 20 years of the Voiles de Saint-Tropez (Sails of Saint-Tropez) regatta from September 28th to October 6th during your stay at the Hotel La Bastide de Saint-Tropez. Whether you’re a keen sailor or don’t know one end of a boat from the other, come along and enjoy this sporting spectacle and its vibrant atmosphere!

The spirit of the Voiles de Saint-Tropez

If you’re looking for fierce competitiveness and determined athletes willing to do anything to win, you’ll miss the boat here. The Voiles de Saint-Tropez is not about all that. As sporting occasions go, it’s as refined, elegant and genteel as the resort itself. It’s all about the pleasure of sailing and testing one’s skills and experience on an enchanting yet challenging route before returning to celebrate. All that floats takes to the water to get the best view of the fine craft, modern or traditional, Wally-built or J-Class J, as their sails fill with the first breezes of autumn.

Your Voiles de Saint-Tropez

There is always something going on at the Voiles de Saint-Tropez. All race finishes take place in front of the Tour du Portalet. So, even ashore you can thrill to the excitement of the final sprint and admire the competing sailboats. You can also stroll to the harbourmaster's offices, where the Village des Voiles takes place during the event. Partners, exhibitors, and organisation members set up their stalls here, creating a friendly and welcoming place where Tropéziens and visitors can get together. Finally, if you love to sail, don’t forget there are teams still open to members!

Your Hotel La Bastide de Saint-Tropez invites you to participate in one of the key events of the Saint-Tropez year. Everyone will enjoy its convivial and relaxed atmosphere, from old salts to confirmed landlubbers...
