So, it’s a real pleasure to take advantage of the cool shade of parasols and enjoy some specialties grilled on the barbecue. Our welcoming Bastide de Saint-Tropez is ideally located near the heart of the resort, just a few minutes’ walk from emblematic places such as the Old Port or the Place des Lices. However, as soon as you walk through the door, you will find yourself immersed in the calm and serenity of a Mediterranean garden, an oasis of fragrance and colour. There, by the pool, our chef puts together his utensils and fires up the barbecue, the plancha and pizza oven, to bring you all the delights of a menu bursting with the flavours of summer.
The mouthwatering charms of the great classics of summer
Our chef, Philippe Colinet, is a lover of beautiful produce and fine ingredients. To bring out the best in these, he makes excellent use of those healthy cooking methods the grill and the plancha. The result is grilled small vegetable fondant, a succulent barbecue bream or a whole roasted capon a la plancha with herbs from the garrigue. Not to mention lobster fresh from the tank or entrecote of Black Angus ... Each dish is prepared before your eyes, so you can admire the skills of our chef and his team who perform a veritable cuisine ballet. If all this whets your appetite, you will probably also be tempted to try the timeless but so tasty starters on offer such as melon and ham, and Italian salad revisited. On the dessert side, before taking a post-prandial nap in one of our deckchairs, you’ll want to opt for Cogolin strawberries, crème brûlée or apricot pie. Great classics to make you melt with pleasure!

In addition to the items on the menu, chef Colinet has prepared an original specialty with pizzetos cooked in the traditional pizza oven. The wood-burning oven gives this tasty pasta an incomparable fondant and crunch highlighted by refined accompaniments. Artichokes, aubergines, tomato confit, peppers and lemon confits are on hand to provide their Mediterranean-style summer flavour. An ideal setting for a late lunch before a long afternoon by the pool. What’s more, your Hotel La Bastide de Saint-Tropez has adapted its Bastide BBQ to the languid rhythms of leisure by awaiting the pleasure of your company each day from noon to 16:00.
